I normally make my neice’s Christmas present every year. Last year was the first time I actually bought her one. I thought I could get away with it this year, too. That was until I went home at Thanksgiving, toting the inventory from my Etsy shop. She has placed an order for a bracelet, a necklace, earrings and a pink satin baby with a big ‘M’ embroidered on the front. She’s not getting that doll, I’ll tell you that. But one pair of her earrings are made. She is in love with the color brown. I have to say I agree. She has excellent fashion sense, but then again, she’s my sister’s daughter. Here is the first pair of earrings I have finished for her:

There is a seller on Etsy, LunasaDesigns, that I love! Her work is so unique. She incorporates rocks (rough, uncut rocks) and 1000 year old pottery bits into her jewelry and it is magnificent. I have been eyeing one of her rings forever and last Saturday night, I took the plunge and bought it. When I first saw the ring, I knew it was meant for me. Here it is:
Isn’t it wonderful! But you see, there is a slight problem. The ring is the wrong size, and Rebekah (of LunasaDesigns) has been doing extensive research on how to resize it without damaging the stone and setting. I cannot wait until it arrives! It’s like waiting for Christmas!
Rebekah was featured on another blog, WAHM Spotlight, about working moms. Here is a link to the interview - read it - you’ll want to buy stuff from her!
Here are the business cards I got from Overnight Prints. I love them! They are on very heavy card stock and the front is coated with a clear uv coating. I could have had the back done, too, for free, but I wanted to be able to write on the back. Let me know what you think - click to make them readable.

If you’ve read my blog before, you notice a change here. I much prefer this clean, sleek. Some things are now missing and some are askew, so pardon me while I work on it over the next week or so. Namaste.
