Working towards Christmas

I normally make my neice’s Christmas present every year.  Last year was the first time I actually bought her one.  I thought I could get away with it this year, too.  That was until I went home at Thanksgiving, toting the inventory from my Etsy shop.  She has placed an order for a bracelet, a necklace, earrings and a pink satin baby with a big ‘M’ embroidered on the front.  She’s not getting that doll, I’ll tell you that.  But one pair of her earrings are made.  She is in love with the color brown.  I have to say I agree.  She has excellent fashion sense, but then again, she’s my sister’s daughter.  Here is the first pair of earrings I have finished for her:

I’m also making varigated olive green ones for her, but they are not even half finished yet.  I’m also such a procrastinator at Christmas! I finished a new item for my Etsy shop last weekend - a bead woven necklace made using a netting technique.  I have tried and tried to get good pictures of it, but I just can’t seem to.
