Black Friday comes early!

posted by SusanClinkscales

Hello friends!

At Clinkscales Arts’, I am celebrating the Thanksgiving season by starting my Black Friday sale early just for my blog readers.  Others will have to wait until Friday rolls around, but not you!  You can get the goods NOW:

**Buy any item in my shop and get another item of equal or lesser value for HALF price!**

Now, that’s just CRAZY!  Also, receive free shipping!

Sale starts NOW for my special blog readers and will end Monday, December 1st (Cyber Monday) at approximately 8pm (central).

This sale will not be announced on Etsy until Friday, so get a jump on the crowds.  Simply purchase the items you would like and wait for a revised invoice from PayPal before completing the transaction.  Just put “BLOG FRIEND” in the note to seller and I won’t make you wait until Friday to get your specials.

Don’t wait, some items in my shop are one of a kind and can not be reproduced.  Don’t be disappointed, get going!
Happy Thanksgiving and Happy Shopping!

A thankful season

posted by SusanClinkscales

I know I should be thankful year round (and for the most part I am), but this time of year really brings to heart all that I have to be thankful for.  Next week I’ll travel home to Texas to see family and gather for that all-too-big meal.  And I’ll get the pleasure of spending time with these two.  They are growing up so fast it’s really hard to believe.  They are the best gift my sister and brother-in-law have ever given me - getting to be called Aunt Sister.  Happy Thanksgiving!!

Yes we did!

posted by SusanClinkscales

Tuesday night, November 4, 2008, is a night I’ll never forget.  I had been holding back the tears of joy until 10pm when polls closed in California and CNN called the election.  An election of hope and of change and of the promise of work to be done.  I was overrun by emotion and so very proud to be living during this time in history when we stood together and chose the best man for our future.

Thank you Mr. President-Elect Barack Obama for taking on the mess that is our country and helping us to see that the path won’t be easy, but the progress is in our hands.
