Finally!

Life has been hectic lately, so I haven’t had as much time to devote to this bracelet as I would have like. That’s why I’ve been working on it on and off for two weeks. But here it is - tada! This is simple and modern, but completely classic. It’s a bracelet that will be in style for years to come.
When I saw these sterling silver links, I knew I had to have them. I’m so glad I followed my instinct. They are heavy and luscious. I was only able to get these six little links though, so this is a one of a kind piece. Currently available in my shop. Don’t wait, there will be no others.

Last of the Winter Brown

I noticed a beautiful beaded fringe bead made by Janie Warnick in a book I recently purchased. I contacted Janie to see if she would allow me to use her pattern to make a few beads for my shop. She graciously agreed, and here we have my first fringe bead:

Pretty Dainty Dangles

I love these earrings that I just listed in my shop! They are pretty and witty and wise! I love pretty and vintage and these have both. The enamel flower petals are vintage pieces I found, while everything else is just pretty. I’ve been buying supplies like a fiend so I can make a lot more pretty jewelry. Stay tuned for more!

Tell me you love me…

Sometimes, I think it’s hokie when people name their jewelry, but these last two pieces have named themselves without me even having to think about it. Available in my shop.

I ran across this picture at Flickr and then went to the blog for Sunshine Creations. I read the tutorial for this Mock Cathedral Window Quilt and it is so easy! I’ve never quilted in my life, but this has given me the courage to try - the ideas are popping around in my head.

Also, on Sunshine Creations blog, she is having a contest to give this gorgeous little quilt away. Just leave a comment on this blog entry to be entered. The more comments she gets, the more handmade prizes she is going to give away. I believe the contest goes through July 4th, so hurry!
