Beadweaver’s November Challenge - Caught in a Net
Well, another month has passed and I didn’t manage to finish a piece to enter in the Etsy Beadweaver’s Challenge for November. The theme was netting and I ran out of beads and by the time the new ones arrived, it was time to go home for Thanksgiving. One of these days I’ll get all of these unfinished projects finished and my shop is going to be overflowing!
Here’s a preview of the November entries.
Visit the Etsy Beadweaver’s Blog to vote for your favorite! You only have 2 days to make your decision so hurry!
I’m a cheater too!
Etsy created this tool to make posters (of other seller’s works) to be printed and handed out at craft fairs, etc. I followed Littleput Book’s lead and used it to highlight some of MY items. Have a look:

Mini Quilt
As promised, here is the quilt that goes with the bear. What do you think? Leave me a message and let me know, please. I thought about listing the bear and quilt separately in my shop. W’ell see how the mood strikes me.
This quilt is approximately 13″x13″ and made from all new cotton.
Today, I am CUTEABLE!
I just had to share that my crocheted earrings were featured on the oh-so-cute blog Cuteable today! If you haven’t been there, check it out. It’s just too cute!
Imogene.org Blog Feature - Crochet Earrings
I can’t believe it’s been so long since I’ve updated my blog. I don’t know where the time has gone. Life just gets in the way sometimes. Work has been transitional but hopefully it is settling down, and I can get back to creating. I have missed making things. I am working on a little project that is inspired by various blogs I frequent, but I’ll save that pretty for another day. Annie of Imogene. featured my crochet earrings on her blog with a list of fabulous crocheted items. Check this out:
Indie Fixx Spring Shopping & Gift Guide
My new lacy earrings are featured in the Indie Fixx Spring Shopping & Gift Guide. Check out the Spring Jewelry section for a discount code for my store.
I love my new business cards
Here are the business cards I got from Overnight Prints. I love them! They are on very heavy card stock and the front is coated with a clear uv coating. I could have had the back done, too, for free, but I wanted to be able to write on the back. Let me know what you think - click to make them readable.

New look for my blog
If you’ve read my blog before, you notice a change here. I much prefer this clean, sleek. Some things are now missing and some are askew, so pardon me while I work on it over the next week or so. Namaste.
Updated Website
I worked a little on my website today updating the colors (I still don’t think they’re quite right) and adding items to my Beaded Doll page to include all of the dolls I’ve made to sell on Etsy. I plan to change the layout a bit, reduce the number of links on the banner across the page and add a page for crocheted items to highlight those precious kitties! I’m also going to add a page for beaded items other than dolls…maybe. I’ve been working on a beaded herringbone ribbon bracelet that is gorgeous, if I do say so myself. I would post a picture of it in progress, but J has made off with his camera again. The nerve!
